Boomerang is a musical project currently in development with Brooke Sanders, a New York-based composer and lyricist.

Boomerang follows Sonia, an ambitious neurosurgery resident driven by a deep desire to heal and powered by perfectionism. Through flashback scenes from her past, we learn the deep roots of Sonia’s perfectionism and ambition. Present scenes in the ruthlessly demanding hospital highlight the impossible pressures faced by a female surgeon in training.

Boomerang is a musical about ambition, family, and the unexpected ways healing often requires us to return to the places we tried to leave behind.
